Did you know...?
Also known as wax plant due to their succulent leaves that are covered by what appears to be a layer of wax. These leaves are the reason why hoya carnosa plants are deemed easier to look after because each leaf has a mini water reservoir.
Medium to bright indirect light is needed with watering once the soil is completely dry. This plant will flower once it reaches full maturity and their blooms won't disappoint: they are small and white, with five petals and a star-like centre which are sweet smelling! Blooming usually occurs during the spring or summer when temperatures and humidity are at their highest. A great plant for hanging indoors or they can climb up trellises.
Native to Eastern Asia and Australia but luckily we don't have to travel all that way to enjoy their beauty.
