Did you know...?
Cebu Blue pothos is a gorgeous plant that is part of the Devil's Ivy family. It gets its name from being native to the Cebu Blue islands located in the Philippines as well as the alluring bluey tones of its foliage.
Best located near east or west facing windows but it can tolerate lower light conditions so it's one to try in a basement flat or north facing room. In darker spots you might notice the new leaves revert to a classic green colour more than the bluey tones that it's known for.
As it matures this pothos can start getting fenestrations in the new foliage and loves to climb upwards like it does in the rainforests. Watering should be done weekly in the summer months but you can relax a little more in the winter and wait for the leaves to wilt slightly; a great indication that it's ready for another drink!
This easy peasy plant is a rare find and certainly one to add into your plant collection if you're after something a bit different.
