Dracaena deremensis 'Lemon Surprise' | Dragon Tree

This mini dragon tree is popular for many reasons! It has shiny luscious green leaves that have colourful stripes of bright lemon and lime running through them, making it incredibly eye catching. Bright light is best for dracaenas, especially the varieties with variegations, but they can tolerate medium light so will suit almost any home or office.

As this particular houseplant has a small pot and therefore a small amount of soil, it will dry out quickly so a weekly check is advised. In the hotter summer months, it might require watering twice a week. Always ensure they have good drainage and don't sit in any excess water as soggy soil is possibly their biggest pet peeve.

Mini dragon plants may be small but they are definitely mighty in their appearance. A great option if you don't have lots of space in your home but need a splash of greenery.
