Did you know...?

The Philodendron brandtiamum, also known as the sliver leaf Philodendron, is fast becoming another popular plant. With its dark green foliage featuring lots of silver variegation throughout, what's not to love?

Give this Philodendron bright indirect light to thrive but it can also tolerate medium to low light levels but will grow slower and have slightly smaller leaves. Watering should be once a week in the summer months when the top few inches of soil are dry. Let your plant dry out more in between waterings during the winter. The silver leaves will appreciate some misting and make sure your plant is positioned in a warm spot of your home rather than anywhere that experiences cold draughts.

The brandtiamum is a vine so it would love to climb up a moss pole or support pin as this is what it does in the wild. It can also trail down if this is the look you'd prefer.
