Did you know...?
Rasta lipstick plants get their name because their unusual bright red flowers emerge out of dark-coloured buds that look like lipstick applicators. The Rasta also has beautiful curled leaves that as a plant, really makes it stand out above the rest.
Natively found in tropical SE Asia, this plant needs a bright spot out of direct sun and regular watering in the summer months, ensuring the soil never completely dries out. Misting is a must to help keep the leaves hydrated, and watch out for cold temperatures in the winter!
