Did you know...?
This philodendron has a very beautiful silvery almost a blue like shine to its foliage. Originating from the rainforests in Brazil, this plant enjoy's dappled light in its natural habitat. Bright indirect rays of sun will keep this silver sword happy in a home environment.
Avoid any direct sun as this can cause discolouration or crispy foliage. Watering is pretty simple, let the top two inches dry in the summer months and let it dry out more in the winter months. It isn't overly picky on having humidity but would certainly appreciate some misting if you would like to give this plant some extra attention.
We love philodendrons as there are so many varieties to choose from with easy care, which makes the silver sword a rose clover must have! Any plant nerd would fall in love with this plant.
